Robert Pasternak
Robert Pasternak is a Winnipeg contemporary artist whose practice began in the 1990’s. A self taught artist, Pasternak’s practice spans across decades and mediums. His work begins with the same act — noticing. He observes what most of us pass by: the rhythm of breath, the folds of a butter wrapper, the texture of asphalt, the geometry of paper. Pasternak’s work traces his visual curiosity across forms and materials, revealing how observation transforms into art.
