Eegyvudluk Ragee (1920–1980)
Eegyvudluk Ragee was an Inuit artist from Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Nunavut, whose drawings and prints are known for their lively storytelling and animated compositions. Working primarily in drawing, Ragee depicted scenes of Inuit life on the land, often filling the picture surface with hunters, animals, and moments of community activity. His energetic line and dense narrative style reflect the early graphic traditions that emerged in Kinngait during the formative decades of Inuit printmaking.
