Meelia Kelly

(1940 – 2006 Cape Dorset)

Encouraged by her older sister, Sheojuk Etidlooie to draw, Meelia Kelly’s work
has been featured in the Cape Dorset Annual Collection from 2001-2006.

Active for only 6 years at the Kinngait Studios, Kelly’s graphic, colorful pieces
continue to inspire new generations of artists, including her grandson, Moe Kelly.
