Ooloosie Sailis an Inuit artist from Kinngait (Cape Dorset), Nunavut, known for her drawings and prints depicting Arctic wildlife and hunting scenes. Working within the Kinngait graphic tradition, Saila creates compositions that emphasize movement and observation, often focusing on animals such as birds and marine life. Her work reflects both lived experience on the land and the evolving studio practices of Kinngait. Known for her owls and landscapes, Saila has contributed to the annual Cape Dorset print collections over several decades, and her work is collected as part of the continuation of Inuit printmaking into the later 20th century.
